This is a late post as I have been busy with a lot of activities such as school and helping out at my mom’s office. Nonetheless, I present you the shots from the Bridal Show which took place two weeks ago at Ayala. Top local fashion designers from Cebu showcased their work and style with their latest bridal and groom outfits. The likes of Jun Escario and Philip Rodriguez were present too.

The son of former Chief Justice of the Philippines, Davide, was around in our campus yesterday to promote the importance in the upcoming 2010 elections. Moreover, he was there to promote himself in the upcoming local elections. He has plans in running for the position of Governor in Cebu.
Nonetheless, the speech was dull so we decided to fool around and take pictures with the use of the available spot lights located in the hall. Most of the pictures taken were portraits. Here’s what I got:

I was contacted recently by the Assistant Editor, Niza Mariñas, of Cebu Daily News, a local Filipino newspaper and a subsidiary of the Philippine national paper, The Inquirer. She was asking whether or not CDN can use my photos from the Gear and Glam event which took place the previous week. I gladly accepted their request as long as they include my full name and website, which they did.

Once again, I would like to thank Niza Mariñas for including my pictures in the paper. This is the first time my work was featured on print media. Hopefully, I’ll get more opportunities in the future to feature my photographs.

As promised here’s my photo post about the other cosplay event I attended. Satin Eclipse, a cosplay event organized by CANE events, took place last Saturday on Halloween at Park Mall. The place was jammed pack with cosplayers, anime addicts, photographers (that includes myself), the media (ABS-CBN) and general mall goers.
I managed to get a backstage pass to the dressing room of the models prior to the fashion show. Moreover, I acquainted myself with a few cosplayers, Marvie and Cybelle, from Cebu Norma University. I apologize if I can’t remember the other two as they used their Japanese names.
Furthermore, I was interviewed by ABS-CBN, MAG TV, about the event. You would probably see me next Sunday on ABS-CBN at 10:45AM. Hopefully, they’ll include me in the segment. They asked questions regarding my favorite costume. I believe they asked the wrong person as I am neither a cosplay or anime fan.

I attended the first Gear and Glam at the SM North Wing last Thursday. I was lucky to be informed of the event by Noelle who sent me a message on the last minute. I was helping out with the enrollment process in our department at University and I got a message from Noelle asking whether or not I am going to the Gear and Glam event which I wasn’t aware of.
Nonetheless, I rushed from school to home, grabbed my camera gear and dashed out to SM. Luckily I arrived way ahead of time as the event started at around 7PM rather the original time of 6PM (typical Filipino time).
